Blueberry crumble
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- margarine, softened - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- blueberries - 4 c
- grated lemon peel - 1/2 c
- quick oats, uncooked - 1/2 c
How to make blueberry crumble:
Place berries, sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until berries become juicy and thick. Stir in lemon juice and peel. Then pour into a shallow 2-quart baking dish.In a small bowl, combine oats, flour, margarine, brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix with fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over berries. Bake at 375° for about 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Serve with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
