Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- unbeaten egg yolks - 3 item
- milk - 1 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- 9-inch baked pie shell - 1 item
- Stir in milk
- shortening - 1 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
How to make lemon sour cream pie:
Combine sugar and cornstarch in saucepan; add butter, lemon juice and egg yolks. Stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick. Cool. Fold in sour cream. Spoon into baked pie shell. Top with meringue. Chill at least 2 hours.Pie Crust:2 c. all-purpose flour1 c. shortening pinch of salt1/4 c. milk Add salt to flour; cut in shortening. Add milk.
