Ingredients/Components
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- stiffly beaten egg whites - 3 item
- lemon peel - 2 tsp
- cup flour - 1/4 item
- cup sugar - 1 item
- beaten egg yolk - 3 item
- cup lemon juice - 1/3 item
- 1/2 cup milk scalded - 1 item
How to make lemon cups:
Combine sugar, flour, salad oil and salt. Add lemon peel and juice. Stir milk into egg yolks, add lemon mixture. Fold in egg whites. Pour into 8-5 oz. custard cups. Set cups in shallow pan. Pour hot water around them 1 inch deep. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Lemon.
