Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 5 Tbsp
- stiffly beaten egg whites - 3 item
- grated rind of 1 lemon
- well beaten egg yolks - 3 item
How to make lemon cups:
Blend sugar, flour and salt. Add to melted butter. Add lemon juice and lemon rind. Mix well. Add egg yolks and milk; stir well. Fold in egg whites. Pour into buttered custard cups. Place in pan of hot water. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes until lightly brown on top. Remove from pan. Cool and refrigerate.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Lemon.
