- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1/2 lb
- water - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- nuts - 1 c
- lemons - 2 item
- flour or cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- Filling:1 small coconut
How to make japanese fruit cake:
Filling:1 small coconut2 lemons1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. water2 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch Mix all ingredients and pour into 2 layers. For other two layers, add in additional 1 cup nuts, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/3 teaspoon spice and 1/3 teaspoon cloves. Bake all layers at 350° for 20 minutes.
