Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- sugar
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar
- nuts - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
How to make coffee cake:
Topping:1 c. brown sugar1 c. nuts1 tsp. cinnamon Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs. Combine liquid ingredients and add alternately with dry ingredients. Pour half of the batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle half of topping over batter. Pour remaining batter over filling, then remaining filling on top. Pour 1/2 cup melted butter over all.
