Jam cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• flour - 6 c
• nutmeg - 1 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• buttermilk - 2 c
• jam - 2 c
• allspice - 1 tsp
• apple butter - 1/3 c
• strawberry preserves - 1/2 c
• 1/2 sticks butter - 1 item
• sorghum - 2 Tbsp
• peach preserves - 1 c

How to make jam cake:

Mix creamed butter, jam, sugar, peach preserves, strawberry preserves, apple butter and sorghum. Add allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg and soda to flour and sift into first mixture adding buttermilk, a little at a time. Mix well. Bake at 275° for 2 1/2 hours.
