Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • oleo - 1/2 c
  • medium potatoes - 8 item
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • medium bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • roll garlic cheese - 1 item
  • small jar chopped pimento - 1 item
  • roll jalapeno cheese - 1 item

How to make jalapeno potatoes:

Boil potatoes (salt to taste) until tender, but not overcooked. Slice potatoes in round slices. Place a layer in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle black pepper, paprika, bell pepper, onion and 1/2 jar chopped pimentos. Add a second layer.

Melt margarine in boiler; slowly add flour. Stir until dissolved well. Add milk and stir until smooth. Cube cheese into this and stir until cheese is melted. Pour over potatoes and bake uncovered 40 to 45 minutes at 350°.
