Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1 c
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • dried oregano leaves - 1 tsp
  • dried basil leaves - 3/4 tsp
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
  • dried marjoram leaves - 1/2 tsp
  • hot cooked spaghetti - 1 item

How to make italian spaghetti:

Cook and stir hamburger, onion and garlic until hamburger is light brown; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except spaghetti. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 hour. Serve sauce over hot spaghetti. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
