Italian spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- dried oregano leaves - 1 tsp
- dried basil leaves - 3/4 tsp
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- dried marjoram leaves - 1/2 tsp
- hot cooked spaghetti - 1 item
How to make italian spaghetti:
Cook and stir hamburger, onion and garlic until hamburger is light brown; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except spaghetti. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 hour. Serve sauce over hot spaghetti. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, One Dish meal.
