Italian spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 1 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- grated Parmesan - 1 item
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- spaghetti - 8 oz
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- clove garlic, mashed - 1 item
How to make italian spaghetti:
Brown beef with onion and pepper in olive oil. Break up meat. Add next 5 ingredients; cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Stir garlic and 1 teaspoon salt into sauce. Add remaining salt to boiling water and cook spaghetti according to package directions.To Serve: Arrange pasta on a warmed platter. Cover with sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Serves 4 to 6.
