Italian casserole
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- grated cheese - 2 Tbsp
- can mushrooms, drained - 4 oz
- shredded Provolone cheese
- mild Italian sausage - 1 lb
- cooked spaghetti, drained - 6 oz
- can 15 oz pizza sauce - 1 item
- chopped olives with pimentos - 2 Tbsp
How to make italian casserole:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook sausage and onion in a large skillet, breaking sausage into small pieces, drain. Combine meat with pizza sauce, spaghetti, mushrooms, olives and 1 cup of shredded Provolone cheese. Pour into a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake 15 minutes then remove from the oven and add remaining cheeses. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until hot and bubbly.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Oven.
