Ingredients/Components
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- caraway seed - 2 Tbsp
- oregano - 1 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- bay leaves - 4 item
- bouillon cubes - 2 item
- beef roast - 1 item
- hard rolls - 1 item
- to 3 green peppers, sliced thin - 2 item
How to make italian beef:
Put 1 cup water in a pan with roast. Bake until almost done. Save broth. Cool. Slice thin and add slices back to broth. Add 2 bouillon cubes (more if using leftover roast and have no broth). Add spices and green peppers. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Remove bay leaves and serve on hard rolls.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Beef.
