Hungarian short ribs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- medium onions, sliced - 2 item
- can 2 c - 1 oz
- beef short ribs - 4 lb
- 4 1/2 c - 6 oz
How to make hungarian short ribs:
In Dutch oven, brown meat in hot oil. Add onions. Blend together tomato sauce, the first 1 cup water, brown sugar, vinegar, salt, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over meat. Cover and simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. SkimRecipe categories: Meat, Beef, Beef ribs.
