Ingredients/Components
- beef short ribs - 4 lb
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- medium onions, sliced - 2 item
- can tomato sauce - 15 oz
- water - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- 4 1/2 c - 6 oz
How to make hungarian short ribs:
In Dutch oven, brown meat in hot oil. Add onions; blend together tomato sauce, first 1 cup water, brown sugar, vinegar, salt, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce; pour over meat. Cover and simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Skim off fat. Stir in noodles and second 1 cup of water. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes or until noodles are tender. About 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Meat, Beef, Beef ribs.
