House salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/3 tsp
- red wine vinegar - 1/3 c
- canola oil - 1/2 c
- green olives - 6 oz
- head romaine lettuce - 1 item
- head iceberg lettuce - 1 item
- small can pimentos - 1 item
- small red onion - 1 item
- box croutons - 1/2 item
- can Parmesan - 6 oz
- can quartered artichoke hearts - 1 item
How to make house salad:
Tear into bite size pieces and combine in a large bowl the 2 heads of lettuce. Slice onion into thin slices. Mix in drained green olives, pimentos and quartered artichoke hearts. Mix red wine vinegar, canola oil, salt and pepper in jar.Just before serving, mix Parmesan and croutons in with salad mixture. Toss vinegar and oil dressing in.
