Ingredients/Components

  • head romaine lettuce, torn small - 1/2 item
  • red cabbage, shredded thin - 1 c
  • medium carrots, shredded - 2 item
  • alfalfa sprouts - 1 c
  • small red onion, cut in thin rings - 1/2 item
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1 c
  • walnuts, chopped - 1/2 c
  • sunflower seeds - 1/4 c
  • sesame seed - 2 Tbsp
  • blond raisins - 1/4 c
  • ripe tomatoes, cut in wedges - 2 item

How to make house salad:

Place in a salad bowl in the order given all ingredients, except tomatoes. Cut the ripe tomatoes in wedges; place on top of salad. Serve with oil and vinegar. Serves 6 to 8.
