Ingredients/Components
- head romaine lettuce, torn small - 1/2 item
- red cabbage, shredded thin - 1 c
- medium carrots, shredded - 2 item
- alfalfa sprouts - 1 c
- small red onion, cut in thin rings - 1/2 item
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1 c
- walnuts, chopped - 1/2 c
- sunflower seeds - 1/4 c
- sesame seed - 2 Tbsp
- blond raisins - 1/4 c
- ripe tomatoes, cut in wedges - 2 item
How to make house salad:
Place in a salad bowl in the order given all ingredients, except tomatoes. Cut the ripe tomatoes in wedges; place on top of salad. Serve with oil and vinegar. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Low calorie, Salads, Low Carb.
