  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 2 3
  • flour - 1 item
  • warm water - 3 c
  • yeast - 1 pkg

How to make hot rolls:

Mix first 4 ingredients together and add enough flour to make a soft bread dough. Put in large bowl and cover with a towel. Put in a warm place and let rise until twice its size. Put on a floured surface and knead again. Put back in bowl, cover and let it rise to twice its size again. Knead again and roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.

Use a biscuit cutter and cut into rolls. Put in pans and cover with a towel. Let rise to twice its size. Bake at 350°.

Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 3/4 cup water together to make a glaze. After rolls have cooked about 5 minutes. Take out of oven and brush glaze on top. Continue to cook until brown.
