Ingredients/Components
- yeast - 1 pkg
- warm water - 1/4 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten until frothy - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
How to make crescent rolls:
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water; set aside. In a large bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup warm water, the oil, eggs and salt. Add yeast mixture. Add 4 cups flour; mix with spoon. Let stand overnight on counter.Next Morning: Divide into 3 sections. Roll one section at a time into a circle; cut like pie into fourths, then each fourth into 3 to 4 pieces. Roll dough from outside to center end and turn upside down in oiled pan. Let rise about 6 hours. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350°. Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
