Ingredients/Components
- box chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- Bake on a well-greased cookie sheet until done springs back to touch
- granulated sugar - 2 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- cream - 2 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
How to make hot fudge cake:
Mix as directed on box. Bake on a well-greased cookie sheet until done (springs back to touch). Cut into 3 x 3-inch squares. Store in airtight container for days or freezes well.When ready for serving, serve as follows: 1 slice cake, 1 slice ice cream (vanilla or French vanilla) and 1 slice cake. Pour Sauce over cake, while Sauce is warm.Sauce:2 c. powdered sugar2 c. granulated sugar2 sticks margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa2 c. cream2 tsp. vanilla Combine all ingredients, except vanilla and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Serve warm over cake and ice cream.
