Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 1/2
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- chopped, cooked chicken - 2 c
- chicken broth or bouillon - 1/4 c
- raw Minute rice
- chopped onion according to taste - 1 item
- to 4 hard-cooked eggs, diced - 2 item
How to make hot chicken salad:
Optional Ingredients:1/2 c. raw Minute rice1/4 tsp. pepper1/2 tsp. salt1/4 c. chicken broth or bouillon Mix all together in 2-quart casserole. Top with crushed potato chips or chow mein noodles and slivered almonds. Bake at 350°, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes, unless you use raw Minute rice, then bake at same temperature for 35 to 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
