Crunchy hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chicken broth - 1/4 c
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 oz
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- slivered almonds - 3/4 c
- pimentos - 1 Tbsp
- crushed Ritz crackers - 2 c
- chopped hard-boiled eggs - 4 item
- chicken, boiled - 1 item
How to make crunchy hot chicken salad:
Mix soup, mayonnaise, broth, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add chicken, celery, pimento, almonds, water chestnuts, onion, eggs and 1 cup of Ritz cracker crumbs. Put into casserole dish; top with the remaining cracker crumbs. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
