  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • salad oil - 1 c
  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp

How to make homemade mayonnaise:

Break egg into container or blender. Add vinegar and dry ingredients. Add 1/4 of the oil. Cover; turn motor on low speed. Immediately uncover and pour in remaining oil, to a steady stream. Turn motor up to high for last 5 seconds or so.
