Homemade cinnamon rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 item
- milk - 1 item
- salt - 3/4 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- plain flour
- margarine, melted
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
- hot tap water - 3 c
- butter margarine - 1 item
- Crisco butter - 3 4
How to make homemade cinnamon rolls:
Icing:2 Tbsp. margarine, melted milk powdered sugar Mix together in large bowl, the Crisco (cut with knife), salt, sugar and hot tap water. Add yeast; stir until dissolved. Let stand 30 minutes (bubbly). Stir, then add approximately 7 1/2 cups plain flour (or until a little sticky). Let rise approximately 1 hour.Punch down. Divide into halves. Roll out each half until 1/2 inch thick. Top with melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and cut into 12 rolls. Place in 9 x 13-inch pan. Let rise until double (1 hour). Bake at 350° until golden brown. Ice while warm.
