Hollandaise sauce
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- grated lemon peel - 1 tsp
How to make hollandaise sauce:
In small saucepan, combine mayonnaise, milk, salt and pepper until smooth. Stirring constantly, cook over low heat for about 3 minutes, or just until heated. Stir in lemon peel and lemon juice. Serve with cooked asparagus, broccoli or other vegetables. Makes about 1 cup.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Very low carbs.
