  • milk - 1/3 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • mayonnaise - 3/4 c
  • grated lemon peel - 1 tsp

How to make hollandaise sauce:

In small saucepan, combine mayonnaise, milk, salt and pepper until smooth. Stirring constantly, cook over low heat for about 3 minutes, or just until heated. Stir in lemon peel and lemon juice. Serve with cooked asparagus, broccoli or other vegetables. Makes about 1 cup.
