Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • stick margarine - 1/2 item
  • cocoa - 3 Tbsp
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • small can evaporated milk - 1 item

How to make hot fudge sauce:

Melt margarine in a 4-cup Pyrex container. Add sugar, cocoa and salt; blend well. Gradually add milk, stirring well. Micro-cook on Full power for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes, until thickened. Stir 2 or 3 times. Watch closely at the end of cooking to prevent boiling over. Store in glass jar and refrigerate. To use, remove lid and heat 3/4 to 1 minute. Stir and pour over ice cream.
