- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- stick butter - 3/4 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- small onion, grated - 1 item
- Rice Chex cereal - 6 c
- hash browns 8 count - 1 pkg
How to make hash brown casserole:
Layer hash browns in long Pyrex dish. Sprinkle grated onion and salt over potatoes. Combine soup and sour cream. Pour over potatoes; spread evenly.Crush Rice Chex and pour melted butter over mix (Rice Chex). Spread evenly over soup and sour cream. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
