Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 16 oz
- stick margarine - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- crushed Ritz crackers - 2 c
- shredded sharp cheese - 2 c
How to make hash brown casserole:
Mix all ingredients except margarine and crackers. Put in 13 x 9-inch dish. Melt margarine and add to crackers. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 425° for 45 minutes.Note: You can substitute mushroom soup for the chicken soup.
