Hash brown casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 1 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 3 c
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- onions, chopped - 3/4 c
- onion powder - 1/8 tsp
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- stack Ritz crackers - 1 item
- bag loose hash browns - 2 lb
How to make hash brown casserole:
Mix together soups and sour cream. Microwave onions on High for 4 to 5 minutes. Add onions, potatoes and cheese to soup and sour cream mixture. Add salt, pepper and onion powder. Place in greased casserole. Melt margarine and crumble Ritz crackers; mix with hands until all are buttery. Sprinkle over top. Sprinkle topping with paprika.
