Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 lb
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted margarine - 1/4 c
- carton sour cream - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 1/2
- grated cheese - 2 c
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- stick melted oleo - 1 item
- small green pepper, chopped optional - 1 item
- cornflakes
- can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup you may use both - 1 item
How to make hash brown casserole:
Topping:2 c. cornflakes1/4 c. melted margarine Put potatoes in a large bowl and thaw to separate. Mix remaining ingredients and put into a large casserole dish. Spread cornflake topping over the casserole. Bake one hour at 325° to 350° or until potatoes are bubbly and done.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Casseroles.
