- sugar - 1/4 c
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 3 tsp
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- beet juice - 3 Tbsp
- sliced beets - 16 oz
How to make harvard beets:
In medium saucepan, add sugar and flour; mix. Add vinegar and beet juice. Stir over medium heat until thick. Add butter; stir to melt. Add beets (drained). Stir and simmer until done. Add salt, if desired.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
