Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- beet juice - 1/2 c
- sliced beets - 2 c
How to make harvard beets:
Heat cooked beets in double boiler. Mix sugar and cornstarch; add vinegar and juice. Pour over beets; add butter. Stir occasionally until mixture gets thick.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
