Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- can red beets - 1 oz
How to make harvard beets:
Drain beets, reserving 1/3 cup liquid. In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in reserved liquid, vinegar and butter. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly. Add beets and cook until warm.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
