Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- oleo 2 sticks - 1 c
- corn syrup or honey - 1/2 c
- unsalted popcorn - 6 qt
How to make caramel corn:
In saucepan, combine brown sugar, oleo, corn syrup or honey and salt. Boil for 5 minutes or to a hard boil. Add vanilla and soda. Mix with popped popcorn. Spread on 2 cookie sheets and bake in 200° oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Store in airtight container to keep crisp.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
