- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- frozen mixed vegetables - 1 pkg
- dry onion soup mix - 1/2 pkg
- carrots, finely chopped - 2 item
- potatoes, chopped - 1 c
- small cans beef broth - 2 item
- cut up tomato or 1 small can tomato sauce - 1 item
How to make hamburger soup:
Cook lean, raw beef in 2-inches of water with soup mix for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring often. Add the broth, vegetables, carrots, tomato, potatoes and salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat until potatoes are tender.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Clear soup, Main dish.
