Ingredients/Components
- ground cooked ham - 1 lb
- ground fresh pork - 1/2 lb
- dry bread crumbs - 1 c
- minced onion - 1/4 c
- minced celery - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- brown sugar
- water - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
How to make ham loaf:
Sauce:1/4 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. dry mustard2 Tbsp. water2 Tbsp. vinegar Mix all ingredients lightly with fork. Put in shallow pan after shaping into loaf. Blend sauce ingredients and use to baste loaf often during baking time. Bake 1 hour at 350°, basting often. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Main dish, Pork, Ham.
