Ham and potato bake
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- flour - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- mild Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- ham, cut into chunks - 1/2 lb
- cooked potatoes, sliced or cubed - 6 c
How to make ham and potato bake:
Saute onion in margarine. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add cheese, stirring until melted. Add potatoes and ham to cheese sauce. Pour into 2-quart casserole. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Yield: 6 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
