Ham and macaroni bake
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 3/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- shredded American cheese
- dry bread crumbs - 3 Tbsp
- diced cooked ham - 2 c
- jar sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- salt, if desired - 1 tsp
How to make ham and macaroni bake:
Prepare macaroni by package directions; drain and set aside. Heat oven to 350°. In large saucepan melt margarine. Stir in flour, salt, parsley, dry mustard and pepper. Blend in milk, stirring constantly until bubbly and thickened somewhat. Add cheese; stir until melted. Add macaroni, ham, asparagus and mushrooms. Mix well. Pour into buttered 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Pasta, Pasta, rice and grains, Elbow macaroni.
