Creamy ham and macaroni bake
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 3/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- can sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- shredded American cheese
- dry bread crumbs - 3 Tbsp
- uncooked macaroni - 2 c
- chopped, cooked ham - 2 c
How to make creamy ham and macaroni bake:
Cook macaroni and set aside. In large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, parsley flakes, dry mustard and pepper. Blend in milk. Cook, stirring, until thickened and bubbly. Add cheese and stir until melted. Add cooked macaroni, ham, asparagus and mushrooms. Mix well. Pour in buttered 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Elbow macaroni.
