Green enchiladas
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- hamburger meat
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- shredded cheese - 1 c
- small can chopped green chilies - 1 item
- tortillas - 1 item
- can Pet milk - 1 item
- Velveeta cheese or Cheez Whiz - 1 lb
How to make green enchiladas:
Brown hamburger with onion; drain. Add cheese and chilies. In another pan or microwave, melt Velveeta or Cheez Whiz. Add cream of mushroom soup and Pet milk. Use corn or flour tortillas. Place 2 tablespoons of meat mixture on tortilla and roll* up to fill a casserole dish. Pour remaining mixture over top with shredded cheese. Bake at 350° until hot and bubbly.*Can be stacked instead of rolled.
Chicken Enchiladas: Cook and bone 4 to 6 breasts, chop. Use chicken soup instead of mushroom. Follow same procedure. Sour cream can be used in place of milk.
