Beef stroganoff sandwich
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 2 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 2 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 3 c
- loaf French bread - 1 item
- large pepper, diced - 1 item
- tomatoes, seeded and cubed - 2 item
How to make beef stroganoff sandwich:
Brown hamburger; drain. Add onion, pepper, tomatoes and seasonings. Stir in sour cream. When ready to serve, cut French bread in half. Cover each half with the hamburger mixture. Cover with shredded cheese. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes until cheese is melted.Leftovers on bread warm nicely in microwave. Leftover mixture can be heated and can be put on hamburger bun and covered with cheese. Broil.
