Ingredients/Components
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 c
- can bean sprouts, drained - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- can water chestnuts, sliced - 1 item
- frozen French-style green beans - 2 pkg
- cans French fried onion rings - 2 item
How to make green bean casserole:
Cook green beans according to package. Save 1/4 cup of liquid after cooking. Combine soup and liquid from green beans with green beans, sprouts and water chestnuts. Top with cheese and bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Remove casserole after baking; top with French fried onion rings, then broil until brown.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Green/yellow beans.
