Spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/4 c
- hot water
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- raw rice - 1 c
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
How to make spanish rice:
Heat oil in skillet. Add onion, bell pepper, beef and rice. Stir over high heat until browned. Add tomato sauce and remaining ingredients. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Cover tightly and simmer 25 minutes. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
