Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- grated Swiss cheese - 1/4 1/2
- cornflake crumbs - 1 item
- green beans - 4 c
- chopped onion or 1 Tbsp - 1/4 c
How to make green bean casserole:
Cook butter, onion and flour until thick. Mix flour mixture with salt, pepper, sugar, sour cream and grated cheese. Mix lightly with beans. Top with cornflake crumbs. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.Hint: Can be made ahead and refrigerated until time to bake.
