Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- crushed cornflakes
- grated onion - 1/2 tsp
- grated Swiss cheese - 1/4 lb
- cans French-style green beans - 2 lb
How to make swiss green beans:
Drain green beans. Melt 2 tablespoons butter and add flour, salt, pepper, sugar, sour cream and grated onion. Fold the beans into the mixture. Spread in 2-quart buttered casserole. Sprinkle top with Swiss cheese. Top with buttered crushed cornflakes. Bake in 375° oven for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Cheese, Green/yellow beans.
