Great gravy
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- meat drippings - 3 Tbsp
How to make great gravy:
Blend meat drippings and cornstarch over low heat until it has a rich brown color, stirring constantly. Gradually add water, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling. Boil gently 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Makes 1 1/2 cups.For cream gravy, use milk or cream instead of water.
