Grandma's oatmeal cookies
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine, softened - 2 c
- packed brown sugar
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- quick-cooking oats - 7 c
- all-purpose flour
- 5 oz
- baking soda - 2 tsp
How to make grandma's oatmeal cookies:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the oats, flour, dry pudding mix and the baking soda; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Yield: 7 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
