Mom's apple crisp
Ingredients/Components
- to 10 apples - 8 item
- oatmeal - 1 c
- flour - 1/3 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice if desired - 1 Tbsp
How to make mom's apple crisp:
Grease Pyrex dish (pie plate works well) with butter or margarine. Peel, core and slice apples. Mix ingredients for topping: oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon.Heap apples in dish. Pour on lemon juice. Crumble topping on top. Add additional dots of butter on top. Bake at 350° until done (topping will darken).
