Ingredients/Components
- boiling water - 1/4 c
- large carrot, grated - 1 item
- juice of 1 small lemon
- fresh dill or 2 Tbsp - 1/4 c
- small head red cabbage, grated - 1 item
- sea salt or seasoned salt - 1 item
- mayonnaise or mayonnaise dressing - 1 2
How to make grandma's coleslaw:
Pour boiling water over cabbage. Add salt and knead well to soften cabbage. Add carrot, lemon juice and dill. Stir and add mayonnaise; mix thoroughly. Refrigerate.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Food processor/blender.
