  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 3 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • or 2 rolls garlic cheese - 1 item
  • grits quick cooking kind - 1 c

How to make garlic cheese grits:

In a large saucepan, heat milk and water nearly to boiling. Add grits, cooking and stirring, until very thick; add salt, butter and garlic cheese. In a small bowl, beat eggs lightly; spoon a little of the hot grits into the egg mixture, then combine with rest of grits. Pour into a greased casserole. Top with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
