salt - 1/4 tsp
flour - 2 c
water - 1 c
soda - 1/2 tsp
cocoa - 3 Tbsp
buttermilk - 1/2 c
vegetable oil - 1/3 c
stick butter - 1 item
box powdered sugar - 1 item
cocoa powder - 3 Tbsp
Mix in flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, eggs, buttermilk and 1 teaspoon vanilla

How to make old fashioned chocolate cake:

Boil oil, 3 tablespoons of cocoa, 1 stick butter, water. Mix in flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, eggs, buttermilk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Bake in a 9 x 13 greased or sprayed pan at 400° for 20 minutes.Icing:1 stick butter3 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Boil ingredients together, beat well. Pour icing over cake while hot. May also poke holes in cake for icing to drizzle through.
